Blue Marlin
Blue Marlin can grow to over 1000lbs and are the most sought after game fish in the ocean. They are truly the king of the sea and the baddest fish in the ocean. They make huge jumps once hooked and can really tear up the ocean and throw white water everywhere. They make long runs and can empty even the biggest big game reels in no time. Every blue marlin is a prize fish and a special achievement. Blue Marlin are available from May to October and the fishing can peak for them at any time.
White Marlin
White marlin are a truly beautiful fish and are also very sought after.
they are very acrobatic and usually come in packs. We have caught over 20 white marlins in one day before and they are a lot of fun. When the fishing is good for them you can expect to catch multiple fish at a time even up to 3 or 4 at one time! They are a very fun fish to catch and hard to kook. White Marlin are available from May thru October but peak season is Mid july thru mid October
Sailfish
Sailfish are similar to white marlin exept they have a huge sail on there back. They are also a very acrobatic fish and are a blast to catch. Sailfish also usually travel in packs and we often catch multiple fish at one time just like white marlins. Sailfish are often the third fish needed to complete a grand slam and are always a welcome sight. Sailfish are available From May thru October and peak in Late July thru October
Spearfish
Spearfish are not as common as the other billfish in the area. Like most billfish they are beautiful and very acrobatic. Spearfish are a rare fish and aren’t seen as much as the other species of billfish. They like sailfish are often sought after for a third billfish species for a grand slam. Spearfish are available from June thru October and peak in August and September.
Yellow fin Tuna
Yellow Fin Tuna are probably the most sought after and most caught of the tuna family. They are a hard fighting fish and are delicious to eat. During peak seasons we can really catch a lot of them sometimes even a limit. They often bite in packs and we can have one hooked up to every rod in the spread sometimes. They Grow to over 100 lbs but the average size we catch is aroung 35 to 65 lbs.
Yellowfin tuna are available all year but peak season is May thru June and October thru November
Big Eye Tuna
Big Eye Tuna is an awesome fish. They are like yellowfins but bigger. They can grow to over 400 lbs but the average size is aroung 100 to 250 lbs. They are very good to eat just like yellowfins and are a very large and hard fighting fish. We often get more than one hooked up at a time and having multiple tunas over 100 or even 200 lbs hooked up at one time can be a real challenge to land. Big eye tunas are available from May thru the Beginning of July and then again in October
Dolphin
Dolphin or Mahi Mahi are a great eating and hard fighting fish. They are probably the most popular and the most caught of all the meat fish. They are one of the fastest growing fish in the ocean. They can reach weight upwards of 80 lbs but most fish we catch are anywhere from 5 to 25 lbs. Any dolphin over 30 lbs is a trophy fish. Dolphins are available from May thru October and can peak at any time.
Wahoo
Wahoo’s are one of the fastest fish in the ocean and are very good to eat. They like the rest of the game fish are beautiful nad can fight hard. They take blistering fast runs once hooked up. Wahoos are available from May through November and peak times are May and then again in October and November.
